Chase Offering $100 for a New Account
This week's most compelling marketing offer comes from Chase Bank. I received a direct mail offer to receive $100 when I opened a new personal checking account. Here's the details:

Is $100 really compelling enough to make me open an account at a bank that I’m really not sure will be open in the next 6 or 12 months?

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for Chase, they are being lumped in with Bank of America and CITI because they are big while they are doing a much better job of navigating the storm (for now).
And Amex is offering a limited group of cardholders $300 to pay off and close their accounts...
